All full-time employees are eligible for benefits on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.Medical Insurance

Vision and other Insurance
SMH offers a variety of voluntary insurance products including vision, disability, accident etc... Many of the benefits are pre-taxed and are paid by the employee.403(b) Retirement Plan
Employees may elect to enroll in the SMH retirement plan. SMH will equally match the employee’s contribution up to 4%. Loans are available. The Roth (after tax) option is also available.Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Employees may elect to set aside pre-tax dollars for medical and/or childcare expenses.Bereavement Leave
Full time employees are eligible for bereavement leave for regularly scheduled workdays due to a death of an immediate family member. Time off varies based on relationship to the employee.Paid Days Off (PDO)
Full and Part time employees are eligible for paid days off. Employees accrue paid days off per bi-weekly pay period. Employees accrue a higher amount of PDO the longer they are employed.Accruals based on full time employment.
