Salem Memorial Hospital emergency medical services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Residents and visitors can dial 9-1-1 for an ambulance for immediate assistance for medical emergencies. Ambulance services are fully staffed with paramedics, advanced emergency medical technicians (AEMTs), and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLs)
